2022 • What a year you were ✨ I’ve been quie 2022 • What a year you were ✨ I’ve been quiet on here soaking up these moments in between all of the work to continue to build Nutrigility. I’m so thankful for my husband, family, friends, and clients who made this year one I’ll never forget. Feeling more aligned than ever and ready to focus on QUALITY in 2023 🤍
I just celebrated a big birthday, and naturally fe I just celebrated a big birthday, and naturally feel the need to reflect! I read somewhere one time that what we were doing when we were 10 years old is often aligned with what we would still enjoy now.

I grew up loving the ocean and used to love surfing (I had the cutest board with 🐠🐠🐠 on the nose). While I’ve enjoyed a lot of beach runs and walks since then, somehow I got away from surfing. Last year my fiancé and lifelong friend got me back into it! There’s something about being in the ocean that’s unlike anything else and I was so lucky to enjoy a little surfing session with my mom on my birthday. 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that most things younger Claire enjoyed (before the noise of society and other people’s opinions came into the picture) are the simplest things that still make me my happiest.

Is there a hobby or something you used to love doing that you’d consider taking back up? 🤍
Staying on track with a good work- life balance (o Staying on track with a good work- life balance (or how I’ve always preferred to say it, life-work balance) can be very challenging.

The days can easily blur together when work consumes nearly all of it. But even taking 15 minutes for a walk, to sit outside, or to do something else you enjoy is SO important. Few people will hold you accountable other than yourself. So make a promise that you’ll make room for some “me” time each day. The other things can wait.

What is one thing you do every morning that is a routine/habit/ritual that you can’t imagine your mornings without?

Doesn’t sound like much, but it’s more about doing something than doing nothing at all.

With college sports, you go through years of being told how to exercise every day (all for a good reason!) - which also typically includes 2-3 hours of activity, 6 days a week during season.

Whether you’re a previous college athlete, or just want to find happiness with moving your body, working on your mindset about how much to do or what to do makes a big difference.

No one is dictating what your exercise should look like. You have all the freedom to move your body and enjoy doing it!

What’s one way you can happily get moving today to start this new month?
Hello! After a few month hiatus from posting, I fe Hello! After a few month hiatus from posting, I felt like it was time to break the spell.

I’ve had a busy summer - from getting engaged 💍, to driving cross country (with my fiancé!) to see family and friends 🗺, to working on house projects 🔨, and taking on many new clients for Nutrigility 💻. All VERY positive and wonderful things!

The interesting part about it all, is that there has been so much going on that I don't think I've able to soak it all in. It's so easy to post the highlights and the happiest moments on Instagram and social media, but the ironic thing is that doing that doesn't capture all of the other thoughts, work, and ideas that filled the time in between. So, what I really wanted to talk about to kickstart some more Instagram activity on my end is....

BALANCE.

We can’t do everything at once. Nor would we want to, really, because then we can’t be present and enjoy moments for what they are.

What does feel right, is learning what a healthy balance with it all looks like - relationships, friendships, work, exercise, food, time to ourselves, etc.

And the beauty is that it’s different for everyone. If your summer has been filled with a lot of events, or not enough. Or even right in between. What does a life with balance look like for you?

It doesn’t have to be anything big scale either. If the question seems too overwhelming to start, focus on one area in your life that you wish you had more balance with. Revisit that thought at the start of each of the next few weeks, but apply it to a different area of your life. When you feel like you’ve hit the main groups, think about how they can all fit together for more balance.

This serves as a reminder for myself, and hopefully for you as well, to live with more intention to prevent feelings of overwhelm that can overpower the good that happens each day. Sometimes a little accountability with social media can actually help for positive change.

Happy Monday!
